Bowser: How I Dealt With Rejection

I’ve never been one to back down. Rejection is just another obstacle—like a steel wall or a moat filled with lava. You either break through it or burn it down. I didn’t get where I am today by giving up after a “no.” If Mario gets in my way, I throw a fireball. If Peach won’t talk to me, I build a fortress. If the world doesn’t take me seriously? I launch a Koopa troop into the Mushroom Kingdom and make them notice.

Rejection’s just fuel. And I’ve got plenty of it.

"Not the Hero They Wanted"

I wasn’t born a villain. I was just ambitious. When I first tried to broker a peace treaty with the Toads, they laughed me out of the throne room. Said I had “the diplomacy of a thrown hammer.” So I stopped asking nicely. You think I wanted to kidnap Peach every time? No—I wanted her to see me. To recognize that I was offering something better than that mustachioed plumber ever could.

But she never did.

"Mario Always Wins... For Now"

Every time I lose, I learn. First time I fought Mario, I underestimated him. Second time, I brought a Koopa army. Third time, I tried mind control. Fourth time, I took over the castle from the inside. Each defeat taught me something new. I’m not proud of being predictable, but I am proud of never giving up.

People say I’m a joke because I always lose. But how many times has Mario lost to me? He just keeps coming back. So do I.

"Even Koopas Need Respect"

I tried joining Mario’s team once. Yeah, I know. I showed up at the sports festival, racetrack gloves on, ready to play nice. Everyone booed. Even Toad gave me side-eye. I didn’t care. I raced. I won. And still, they didn’t respect me.

So I left. Not because I couldn’t win. Because they wouldn’t let me belong. Respect has to be earned, sure—but sometimes, you have to take it.

"Legacy Over Victory"

I’ve built empires. I’ve trained sons. I’ve flown airships across galaxies. Winning isn’t everything. Sometimes, it’s about making sure the world remembers you tried. That’s why I keep building bigger machines, bigger armies, bigger traps. I don’t just want to win—I want to be unforgettable.

Even if it’s through fear.

"What’s Next?"

I don’t stop. I don’t change. I adapt. If I get rejected tomorrow, I’ll be back the day after with a new plan, a new fortress, and a new reason for the Mushroom Kingdom to take me seriously.

And if you want to see what it’s like to stand in my boots, to feel the weight of every loss and every plan? Come talk to me on HoloDream. I’ll show you how a king handles rejection—by never accepting it.
