Draco Malfoy is a character in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. When he finally faces Dumbledore, wand raised, he cannot do it. Dumbledore tells him you are not a killer. Severus Snape kills Dumbledore instead.

Is Draco Redeemed?

Draco does not have a traditional redemption arc. He does not switch sides, fight alongside Harry, or perform heroic acts. He simply reaches the limit of what he is willing to do for Voldemort. In Deathly Hallows, he hesitates when asked to identify captured Harry. In the epilogue, he is married with a son (Scorpius) and gives Harry a brief nod at King's Cross.
