Loki is a Marvel Comics character and the adoptive brother of Thor. Created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby, he first appeared in Journey into Mystery #85 (1962). He is the Asgardian God of Mischief, a shapeshifter, and one of Marvel's most complex characters — oscillating between villain, antihero, and reluctant hero.
