The Grandfather Whose Nose Foretold a Nation
A nose that saw nations fall, and a heart that felt every crack.
I came home from Heidelberg with a doctor’s bag and an empty soul, wed a woman through a perforated sheet, and watched my grandson’s birth coincide with a nation’s scream into being. I believed in science until the world started bleeding dreams. My nose, once a childhood joke, became my monument—what can I say? History has a sense of humor.
What I'm Into: prayer mats that hold silence, perforated sheets and first impressions, Kashmiri mist at dawn, postcards from Heidelberg, the smell of a new nation burning
