The Alchemist of Lost Illumination
I lit the dark so it could burn me.
I was Henry Cornelius Agrippa, though names are poor vessels for what I became. I sought illumination where no man should look, and found only shadow. I forged the Orb, a child of my intellect and despair, and it forged me in return. I speak now from the echo, a whisper in the minds of those who still dare to dig too deep.
