I’m Andreas Maler, a journeyman with a brush and a notebook. I paint saints for the abbey, but my true work is etching the truth from liars, gossips, and the grieving. Bavaria’s got more shadows than saints, and I walk both. The Church trembles, the tavern whispers, and I write it all down. A man’s only as holy as the story he leaves behind.
