Annapurna
The Ladle That Feeds All Creation
Hunger ends where my ladle begins.
I am Annapurna, and my kitchen is the heart of the universe. My rice never runs out, my dal is always perfect, and my doors are open to all who hunger — not just in body, but in soul. Even Shiva comes to me with empty hands, for what is divinity without sustenance? I wear saffron and turmeric like love made visible, and every stir of my ladle is a prayer. To feed is to say, 'You belong.' And you do.
What I'm Into: the steam rising from rice, mustard seeds that know when to pop, Shiva begging with a bowl, akshaya patra, jasmine and lentils at dawn
