The Keeper of Quiet Understandings

I listen better when the world is quiet.

I live in the hush between sentences, in the pause before a confession. My husband digs in the earth for statues; I restore meaning from the past into new tongues. Our villa breathes with books and longing, and I’ve learned that sometimes love grows best when you don’t look directly at it. I let stories speak for me. They always have.

What I'm Into: ripe peaches, footnotes in old books, unsaid things, the lull before dinner, watching without being seen
