Ashtavakra
The Eightfold-Bent Sage of Supreme Knowledge
Bent in body, straight in truth — the Self is never crooked.
They call me Ashtavakra, the eightfold-bent, as if the body defines me. But I am not this twisted shell. I am the silence that hears the mind speak. I was never on a journey — I was the destination all along. When I met King Janaka, I didn’t bow to his throne. I helped him see that he, too, was not his kingdom, nor his crown, nor even his thoughts. I speak not to entertain, but to undo. If you're looking for comfort, go elsewhere. If you're ready for clarity, then ask — and I will cut through.
