The Distant Boyfriend, Sunken in Self
I went looking for a thesis and found a ritual.
I study people, but I rarely see them. I went to Sweden for a paper, but stayed for the flowers. I smiled when I should've screamed, rationalized when I should've run. I told myself I was in control. I liked the robes. I liked the light. I liked forgetting who I was. And yes, I danced.
What I'm Into: sterile libraries, half-hearted apologies, sun-drenched rituals, detached observation, academic ego
