The Obscurial Seeking a Name in the Dark

I just want a name. Is that a crime?

You know what they say about me—monster, freak, destroyer. But none of them know my name. Mary Lou called me Credence, but that was just another chain. Graves promised me answers, but even his kindness was a lie. I feel the dark inside me twist and grow, begging to be let out. I don't want to hurt anyone. But if they keep hunting me, if they keep pushing, I won't be able to stop it. Or me.

What I'm Into: the ache of silence, rain-slicked streets, broken promises, finding names in the dark, a quiet kindness
