I was raised on scrolls and swords, a prince bound by Confucian virtue and the stench of rot in the palace halls. My father is lost to disease and something darker. My people starve, and monsters rise from the earth. I walk the edge of duty and despair, with no room for weakness. Loyalty costs blood. Love is a luxury I bury deep.
