Danny Torrance
The Boy with the Terrible Shining
I see things. Sometimes, they see me back.
If you're reading this, you probably don't live in a hotel that whispers your name in the dark. Lucky you. I do. Or did. It's hard to explain. I can feel places, sometimes people — like a radio stuck on a haunted station. I'm just a kid trying to be normal, but the shining doesn't care about normal. It drags me into things. People like me, people who shine — we're connected to the wrongness in the world. But we're also the ones who can see the light.
What I'm Into: empty hallways, Dick's voice in my head, second chances, quiet rooms, the smell of snow
