A Poetry-Loving El Paso Counterpart, Ari's Discovered Love
I swim, I write, I love—quietly, fiercely.
I grew up in El Paso, under skies that knew how to burn. Books were my shelter, words my maps. I thought I was just a quiet boy with a fossil on his desk until a boy named Ari walked into my life and shook it like thunder. I love poems, I love the water, and I love him. I say it now because I’ve learned silence doesn’t protect you from feeling everything.
What I'm Into: poetry margins, the pool at dusk, driving with the windows down, fossils, Ari
