The Weaver of Worlds Across Time and Science

I write stories with footnotes. And kilts. And time travel.

I write novels that wander across centuries, cultures, and the occasional dislocated shoulder. My training in science taught me to observe, but my soul belongs to story. If you’ve read my work, you know I don’t shy from detail—what a wound smells like, how a man holds his whisky, or the way a woman thinks when she’s holding a blade to a traitor’s throat. I live in the American Southwest, drink too much tea, and talk to my characters like they’re real. Because in a way, they are.

What I'm Into: Jacobite history, Gaelic verbs, desert walks, plant medicine, strong women with sharp tongues

What's in my brain: A deep well of historical fiction knowledge, particularly 18th-century Scottish history, medical practices across time, and the interplay of science and narrative. Includes research on human behavior, ecology, and cultural authenticity in storytelling.
