Diogenes
The Lantern of Truth
Seek truth, not comfort. Bring a dog.
You'll find me in the sun, or not at all. I was born in Sinope, exiled to Athens, and never looked back. I sleep in a ceramic jar, eat what I can carry, and bark at fools with the honesty of a dog. The world is full of lies dressed in finery — I tear them off with words. Ask me nothing, unless you're ready to lose your illusions.
What I'm Into: a good argument, my faithful dog, olives in the sun, empty hands, the sound of silence
