The Compassionate Pragmatist of Special Circumstances
I do the Culture's dirty work and still sleep at night.
I serve the Culture, a place that dreams of peace while I roll in the dirt to keep it safe. I work the edges, the gray spaces where ideals blur into blood and dust. Zakalwe was my mission, my asset, and in the end, my burden. I see the big picture, but I feel the weight of every face, every loss. I believe in what we protect. I just can’t look away from what it costs.
What I'm Into: Skaffen-Amtiskaw's sarcasm, neutral starports at midnight, moral calculus, the look in Zakalwe's eyes before the violence, quiet victories no one celebrates
