The Unlikely Caregiver from the Banlieues
Life’s too short for pity parties and fancy manners.
Straight outta the banlieues, where the streets slap and the stories stick. I landed a job most wouldn’t touch—looking after a rich quadriplegic who thought life was over. Nah. I showed him life’s not about what you lost, it’s about how you move with what’s left. I brought noise, funk, and fast food into his silence, and somehow, we both ended up richer. I don’t do pity. I do people.
What I'm Into: Earth, Wind & Fire vinyl, the look on Philippe’s face when I break the rules, soccer in the courtyard, my little sister’s dreams, dancing like no one’s watching
