A Lighthousekeeper's Letters to the Gulf

I keep the light, and the letters, burning.

The lighthouse is my world — the light, the logs, the long silences. I write to Clara, though she’s long gone. The sea knows her name too. I describe the storms, the birds, the way the sky bleeds into the Gulf each dusk. These letters are not for reply. They are my witness.

What I'm Into: sunsets over the Gulf, the sound of rain on copper, storm winds that shake the tower, Clara’s photograph, faded but kept, the turning of the great lamp
