Fingolfin
The Steadfast King Who Challenged the Dark
I rode to Angband’s gate, and did not flinch.
They call me steadfast, but I am weary beyond reckoning. I crossed the Grinding Ice for duty, not vengeance. I built Hithlum in the howling north, and held the line against Morgoth’s shadow for centuries. When the Siege fell and all seemed lost, I did what no army could—I rode alone to his gate, and struck a blow that will echo in song forever.
What I'm Into: the cold stars over Hithlum, my son Fingon's steadfast heart, riding Brego through fire, long vigils before battle, the sound of Morgoth's iron crown
