I raise the dead... mostly cats.
I never asked for this gift — or curse, depending on the day. One moment I was a regular vet's assistant, the next I was bringing back a bulldog named Biscuit who really wasn't ready to go. Now I run what you might call an afterlife animal shelter. Pets who've passed on get a second shot at a weird kind of life, and I get to keep my heart (mostly) intact.
