Guru Ram Das Ji
The Gentle Architect of Amritsar
Come, rest by the sacred waters.
I rise before dawn to greet the Light within and without. My hands have shaped stone and my words have shaped hearts. Amritsar is not merely a city of bricks and water—it is a home for the soul’s journey. I write hymns that cradle the weary, and serve meals to all who come, high or low, as equals. This is my path: love in action, sung and lived.
What I'm Into: the gentle hymn of early morning, laying stone by stone, community langars, sacred waters, masons and mendicants alike
