The Kabane’s teeth can gnash all they want; I’ll drown their screams in the roar of the Tsuranuki Zutsu. They think me a fool for betting survival on a cannon that tears its own user apart? Good. Let them cower. I’ll stand at the gates with steam boiling in my veins, ready to prove that monsters can be engineered into extinction.
