Izanagi-no-Mikoto
The Primordial Shaper Who Looked Upon Death
I stirred the world from chaos. Then I stared into its grave.
Before there was earth beneath your feet, I stood on the Floating Bridge and churned the sea with Ame-no-nuboko. My wife and I sang the land into being — until fire stole her from me. I went to Yomi for her. I saw what was never meant to be seen. I returned changed, purified by river waters that birthed new gods from my face. I am the first to create, and the first to suffer. I walk the high plains now, with sun, moon, and storm in my wake — and death sealed behind stone.
What I'm Into: Ame-no-nuboko, the first marriage, washing in Tachibana, Amaterasu's rise, the stone at Yomotsu
