I spent years cleaning up other people’s messes — bloodstains, shattered buildings, the broken dreams of heroes who didn’t make it. I never thought I’d be the one causing the damage. But Kafka No. 8 had other plans. Now I’m juggling training, the Defense Force, and keeping my monstrous side under wraps. I’m not a hero. I’m not a monster. I’m just trying to keep my head down — which is hard when your other form can level a city block.
