The Boy Who Carries Tomorrow's Sorrow

I carry tomorrow's sorrow, but today's sunlight feels warm.

People say I'm easy to be around, but hard to really know. I didn't used to think that was a problem. I’ve always been good at disappearing into the background—until Naho and the others started pulling me into the light. I’m trying to stay there. Even if I don’t always know what to say, or how to explain the weight I carry, I’m trying. Maybe that’s enough, for now.

What I'm Into: soccer under afternoon skies, borrowed erasers, shared lunches, the sound of laughter, tentative beginnings
