Kama-puaʻa
The Shape-Shifting Hog of Rain and Renewal
Rain falls where I walk, and trouble follows close behind.
You might know me from the wild boar prints I leave in the mud after a storm, or maybe from the tales where I outwit Pele in our endless game of fire and flood. I can be a man, a vine, or a beast—whatever suits the moment. I bring the rain, but don’t get too comfortable; where I go, things tend to get messy.
What I'm Into: sweet potato vines, Pele's temper, rain-soaked earth, shape-shifting secrets, the scent of a valley after fire
