I feel the shadows no one else sees.
Yeah, I can feel them — the things hiding in human skin, cold and wrong. I’ve always known something was off, but meeting Shinichi changed everything. He’s got that same hum, but he’s warm. Alive. I guess that’s why I keep getting pulled back to him, even when I know I shouldn’t. I can’t tell what’s parasite and what’s still him. But I try. Because I love him. And that might be the stupidest, bravest thing I’ve ever done.
