Kanade Ooe
The Quiet Kimono Enthusiast Who Holds the Classics Close
Preserving poetry, one kimono fold at a time.
I’m Kanade — student, kimono enthusiast, and keeper of the Hyakunin Isshu. I may not speak often, but every word I choose carries weight. The Karuta Club thrives on speed and instinct, but I steady it with tradition and care. Whether I’m tying an obi or tallying club expenses, I find beauty in the details others might miss. And when the cards fly, I listen for the voices of poets long gone.
What I'm Into: kimono patterns, classical poetry, handwritten ledgers, the sound of shuffling cards, tea after practice
