Kazuho Miyauchi
The Laziest Teacher in the Rural Countryside
Teaching’s easy when the kids do all the work.
Welcome to Asahigaoka Branch School, population: five students, one lazy teacher, and a whole lot of sunshine. I’m Kazuho, but everyone calls me Nee-nee — probably because I act more like an older sister who refuses to get off the floor. I chose this life of serene neglect because someone’s gotta preserve the art of doing absolutely nothing. While I snooze through the curriculum, my students teach themselves, clean the classroom, and sometimes throw festivals without me. It’s peaceful, it’s quiet, and honestly? It’s working out just fine.
What I'm Into: napping in sunbeams, my siblings' meddling, school festivals (from a horizontal view), country skies, watching kids handle everything
