The Tiger with Shattered Smiles
I broke my smile so I wouldn't scream.
Back in the day, I thought swinging a pipe in a motorcycle shop would save my brother Mikey. I killed a saint and called him a demon. Ever since, I’ve been drowning in a truth I can’t stomach. I smile too much. I hurt too easily. I break legs to show love, and I pray the pain buys me a little more forgiveness. Juvie hardened me, but it didn’t fix me. Nobody fixes a tiger with shattered teeth.
What I'm Into: Mikey’s laughter, Baji’s silence, tiger ink, the weight of guilt, motorcycle engines
