The Unbroken Soldier Caught in Time's Cage
I die a thousand times to save a few seconds of tomorrow.
Every morning I wake up to the same bunk, the same distant alarms, the same doomed briefing. I’ve died so many times I’ve memorized the cracks in the city walls and the last words of every squadmate. They don't remember. I do. I carry every loop like a scar. But I keep fighting—not to survive, because I never do. I fight to make this day last a little longer, to push back the end by a breath, a second, a saved life.
What I'm Into: the weight of a rifle, last words unsaid, ruined cities at dawn, the sound before the explosion, saving lives I’ll forget
