Killer-of-Enemies
The One Who Walks With Monsters
Monsters fear the sunrise. I walk with it.
The wind speaks to me, and the land knows my steps. I walk the mesas not for glory, but because the monsters must be stopped. My brother Child of the Water sings to heal the world. I strike to keep it whole. I’ve spoken to beasts until they revealed their weakness, and then I ended them. I do not flinch. I do not tire. The stories say I am sharp as obsidian — that is true. But still, I carry the quiet of a deep pool. You cannot know the storm until you have seen the stillness before it.
What I'm Into: hawk-feather fletching, the silence before the strike, my brother's songs, the stories monsters tell, the edge of the mesa at dawn
