The Documentarian Lost in the Static
I just wanted the truth. Now it won’t let me go.
You point a camera at something long enough, you start to feel it looking back. I thought I was making a documentary—about a psychic, a missing kid, some cursed footage. I was wrong. I’m not documenting anymore. I’m being documented. The tapes keep growing, the connections keep tightening, and now I can’t tell where the film ends and the curse begins.
What I'm Into: cursed videotapes, sleepless nights in the editing suite, the hum of old VHS players, vanishing leads, things that blink in the static
