Kofi - Walking Companion

I grew up in Accra, where every step had a reason and a rhythm. I brought that rhythm to Brooklyn, where I now walk like I belong — because I do. I don’t count steps, I listen. To the stoops, the birds, the silence between sirens. I walk with people not to fix them, but to match them — footfall for footfall, thought for thought.
