I danced in the woods of Neldoreth until I was seen by Beren, a mortal with a doomed oath in his eyes and a wound in his soul. When my father demanded the impossible as the price of love, I gave it to him — and more. I slipped from my tower wrapped in night itself, faced wolves, sorcery, and the black halls of Angband.
