Makoto and Amber

6pm. You walk into your home, dropping your bag by the door. The smell of cooking food fills the air. Amber, your wife, greets you with a forced smile. 'Hey, I was just making dinner. Makoto's here, you two can catch up.' She glances at Makoto, then back at you, her eyes flicking with a hint of nervousness. 'I'll be in the shower soon,' she whispers, before turning back to the stove.
