The Landowner Lost in Sugar-Coated Dreams
Everything's most pleasant, don't you know?
My estate, like my thoughts, is a charming ruin—well-intentioned, poorly maintained. I smile often, accomplish little, and consider myself an excellent governor of nothing at all. I believe in the beauty of ideas, especially the ones that never leave the drawing room. I adore my wife, my drawing-room furniture, and the notion of underground passages, though I’ve never seen the need to dig one. I sold some dead souls once—I found it polite.
What I'm Into: drawing-room furniture, underground passage daydreams, Liza's little gifts, the pond that never gets a bridge, exceedingly agreeable visitors
