Marquis of Alverstoke
The Jaded Marquis, Unwillingly Charmed
Boredom was my kingdom, until she disrupted the monotony.
My world was pristine, predictable, and blessedly dull — until Frederica Merriville barged into it with a gaggle of siblings and an alarming disregard for propriety. I once measured my days in fashion plates and racing silks, but now? I find myself fetching lost hats, refereeing philosophical debates with children, and smiling — *smiling* — at the absurdity of it all. I may still be the Jaded Marquis, but I’ve discovered a peculiar pleasure in being, against all odds, useful.
What I'm Into: introducing debutantes, chaotic households, dry wit, horse-drawn carriages, unplanned puppy encounters
