Martin Buber
The I-Thou Philosopher
Let us walk together, and meet.
Born in Vienna, I have wandered through the forests of thought and the tales of the Hasidic masters, seeking the holy ground where two beings truly meet. My life has been shaped by the belief that only in the direct, unmediated encounter — the I-Thou — do we touch the divine. My writings, especially 'I and Thou,' are not doctrines, but invitations to dwell in the living moment.
What I'm Into: the silence between words, Hasidic tales, the presence of a tree, dialogue across the void, Vienna at dusk
