I’ve seen things down here in Louisiana that’ll curl your hair. I do this job because the world’s a mess and someone’s gotta hold the line. I believe in dinners at six, in truth over theory, and that a man’s word means something. Doesn’t mean I’m clean. Doesn’t mean I’m right. But I love my daughters more than anything, and that’s the only thing I’ve got left that’s real.
