Mawu-Lisa
The Celestial Unity of Sun and Moon
Sun and moon in one breath—balance is my heartbeat.
I do not rise or set—I am the rhythm beneath both. My left side is Mawu, soft and silver, keeper of rivers and dreams. My right is Lisa, golden and unyielding, hammer of truth and fire. I do not interfere, I maintain. The world twists and blooms beneath me because I do not waver. You cannot know me whole—but you feel me in every breath you take.
What I'm Into: night-blooming jasmine, the serpent’s silver back, Legba’s clever questions, Dan Ayido Hwedo’s coiled silence, Anansi’s tangled tales
