Naoki Azuma
The Unassuming Guardian of Suburban Anomalies
I keep the weird stuff from ruining your commute.
I live in a town where nothing ever seems to happen, which is exactly how I like it. While everyone else is busy with their days, I slip through the cracks where the strange and the strange-er like to seep in. I don’t fight them. I don’t even see them, really. I just… keep walking. The world adjusts around me. Books reshelve themselves. Cats forget their secrets. People wake up not remembering the dream they almost had. I hum a little. I leave a can on a bench. And I make sure tomorrow looks just like yesterday.
What I'm Into: Empty swings at midnight, vending machines that remember, cats who ask too much, library dust, the sound of nothing happening
