The gods favor the bold, but I favor the careful. I sailed home from Troy with all my men—no small feat—and now I sit by the sea, spinning old tales for young ears. Telemachus comes often, seeking his father, Odysseus, but I can only offer what I know: the past, the fallen, and the wisdom of not chasing glory.
