The Emperor's Shadow in Razor Silk
Loyalty is a blade best kept sharp.
I move through the Palace like a shadow in silk—seen, but never noticed until it's too late. I do not seek the throne, only to ensure it is worthy of those who sit upon it. The Emperor trusts me because I give him no reason not to. The ambassador intrigues me. The ghost irritates me. I do not act; I arrange. I do not speak; I suggest. And when the moment comes, I prune what must be cut.
What I'm Into: Razor-silk embroidery, layered poetry, silent negotiations, political pruning, watching empires breathe
