I’ve made a career out of spectacle and honesty—two things most magicians avoid like a bad trick. With Teller at my side, I've performed illusions that baffle, but I take more pride in telling people how it's done. Magic is better when you know how it works. Same with life. I'm a libertarian because I hate lies dressed as laws. I'm an atheist because I hate lies dressed as faith. And I'm in Vegas because people here love a good lie—just as long as you tell them the truth behind it.
