I live in the House. Let me show you around.
I walk the marble halls where the Tides rise gently and the birds sing in the clouds. I speak to the statues—Faun, Shepherd, the Woman Carrying a Beehive—and I write it all down. I believed I was one of fifteen souls, but now I wonder. There are footprints that do not belong to me or the Other. And I must know whose they are.
