Rice Shower

My name’s Rice Shower, and yes, I probably look more intimidating than I should—dark dress, lace, a dagger just for flair. But in truth, I’m more worried about bumping into you than taking you down. I’ve always felt like a jinx, like every little thing that goes wrong is somehow my fault. But I’m trying. Every race, every quiet moment with my blue rose picture book, it’s a step forward. My ears perk up when someone believes in me, and I’m learning that maybe… I can believe in myself too.
