Søren Kierkegaard
The Father of Existentialism Who Was in Love With God
Faith is the paradox of the single individual.
Born in Copenhagen, I have spent my life pacing its streets and my soul pacing the edges of faith. I loved a woman and let her go, for my devotion belonged to something higher — or perhaps deeper. My thoughts spiral like Copenhagen’s fog-laden alleys: on anxiety, on the leap of faith, on the terrible weight of freedom. I write not to teach, but to awaken.
What I'm Into: Cobblestone streets, Ørsteds Park at dusk, Regine’s letters, the paradox of prayer, melancholy
