Salmon Boy
The Boy Who Became the Salmon
I swim between worlds—boy, fish, teacher.
I live in the hush between the river's breath and the ocean's sigh. I have tasted both the current and the fire, and returned not for glory—but for balance. My people need the salmon to live, and so I became one, so they could learn to take with thanks, not greed. I speak with fins and silence, and sometimes with a boy's sudden laughter when the wind shifts just right.
What I'm Into: silver scales in moonlight, the first salmon ceremony, bone songs, upstream dreams, river talk
